Usaquen Neighborhood is an ancient town, which was annexed to the city in the 50’s, has colonial architecture

Usaquen Neighborhood is the most exclusive set of offices, commercial representations, banking entities, medical attention and health centers, as well as malls, in the entire city.

Usaquen Neighborhood was once a municipality close to Bogota and now has been made part of the city and completely absorbed by the District. It is becoming one of the most peasant urban centers that have been created by the city. Although constructions and close circuit sets of houses have been built with harmony, the typical village still preserves part of its originality and flavor. You can appreciate narrow streets and old mansions from the late 19th century, whose architecture is characterized by a central patio and the rooms surrounding it, always with interior and front gardens. The main attraction is its own park where the Santa Barbara Church is located on the eastern side. Scattered in this specific sector, which has adopted an imminently bohemian atmosphere, are numerous antique shops, exclusive boutiques, art and independent cinemas, cafeterias, tea shops and many restaurants. During holidays, special seasons and Christmas, the park turns bubbling with activities. On Sundays and Holidays it is also crowded with people, due to the Flea Market or Toldos de San Pelayo, where you can find singers, crafts of all kind, storytellers, artists of all kind.
