Chapel of the Tabernacle of the Cathedral is located between carrera 7 and Calle 10, The Chapel of the Tabernacle was completed in the late 17th century. Its function was to serve as a tabernacle for the Cathedral. It constitutes a classic example of the colonial ornamentation of the 17th century. It contains several examples of the important religious painter of that period, Gregorio Vasquez Arce y Ceballos.
