The House Museum Coin of Colombia was founded by the military engineer Turrillo Yebra Alonso in the seventeenth century.

Casa De La Moneda – Currency House (Calle 11 No. 4-93): In this wonderful colonial house, you find samples of coins, as of the 19th century, This collection has an important representation of the issuance of currency by the Bank of the Republic, which were printed abroad up to 1959, and gradually afterwards the bills began to be printed in the Bank’s print. Among them, there are very beautiful bills, sought after by collectors, as well as the machines, printing presses and other elements used in the coining process and the making of coins and bills.

Visits: Mondays through Fridays from 10:00a.m. to 8:00 p. m.; Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
