The Adventure Park was built on what was originally the city’s main airport, Techo, and later turned into a horse racetrack of the same name. The children’s area has a mini-safari, the Rio Grande steam train, a pirate ship, a crazy bus, Icarus, and other. The family area includes the ever-popular tree trunk causeway, waterborne switchback, karts, a crazy-house, and games of skill. There is parking, a medical post, food area, public telephones, ATMs, and a souvenir shop. It is a short way from Plaza de las Americas, the main shopping center of south west Bogotá.
