Bogotá Colombia is located in the centre of the country at an altitude of approximately 2,600 metres, Bogotá enjoys an almost perfect climate with average temperatures varying from 9 to 23 degrees centigrade.

There are three sections: “Geography” locates Bogota on the map, describes its climate and defines its area of influences. “History” tells the story of the city from its earliest days; and “Architectural” explains how the city has developed and describes some of its buildings.
