The Cathedral of St. Peter the Apostle in Cali (Spanish: Catedral de San Pedro Apóstol) also called the Metropolitan Cathedral of Cali or simply the Cali Cathedral, is the mother church of the city of Cali,
has endured the damage from several earthquakes; it underwent some restoration and is now a Cultural Asset of National Interest. Important representative paintings of the Quito school are displayed in this temple. Highlights include the central altar and images of the Fallen Christ and El Sagrario, dating from the eighteenth century.
