Formerly populated by Panci or Pance in the river basin, decimated with the arrival of the Spanish, today it is inhabited by a hospital community, coming from different departments of the southwestern Colombian.

The visitor will find a great variety of Flora and Fauna, in an environment that goes from the formation of TROPICAL JUNGLE LOWLANDS in the Vortex to 1,100 meters above sea level, passing through the SUBANDINE JUNGLE in the village of Pance a 1,550 meters above sea level and by the Andean jungle in Pico de Loro at 2,800 meters above sea level, to the environment of PARAMO in Pico Peak at 4,100 meters above sea level.
is located at a height of 1,100 meters above sea level on the banks of the Pance River and inhabited by approximately 200 people is the main natural spa in the Municipal area of Cali. The maximum temperature is 36 degrees and minimum of 13 degrees.
