This work represents the patriotism and solidarity of the people of Cali. It was a donation from the Ibero-American Association of Chambers of Commerce and was inaugurated on March 24, 1995.
Monumento La Solidaridad (Monument to Solidarity), This work represents the patriotism and solidarity of the people of Caleño. It was a donation of the Ibero-American Association of Chambers of Commerce and was inaugurated on March 24, 1995.
It is made with materials brought from Italy: slate and quartz. The design and construction was in charge of the sculptor Héctor Lombana Peñeres.
Made in honor of the civic and collaboration of the people of Cali. It is an example of mutual help and optimism in which nobody lags behind because all participants are tied to the common thread of solidarity. Located on Avenida 3 Norte with 34, It was made in quartz and slate, materials imported from Italy and now replace bronze for its economy. Its cost was 160 million pesos and the work was designed and realized by the sculptor cartagenero Hector Lombana Piñeres and inaugurated the 24 of March of 1995. The work was donated by the Ibero-American association of Chambers of Commerce in occasion of the annual assembly of This entity, who by tradition gives a work to the host city of the event.
