The Neoclassical structure designed by Belgian architect Joseph Martens, houses the Administrative Court, the Cali High Court, as well as a small museum dedicated to the regional production of sugarcane. Its ornate chalk-white façade capped with a slate-grey roof and dome strikes visitors’ attention..

The National Palace of Cali is home to the Judicial Sectional Council, the Administrative Court of the Valley and the Superior Court of Cali, and houses a small museum in commemoration of the cultivation and processing of sugar cane. Located next to the Plaza de Cayzedo in the historical, architectural and cultural center of Cali. On July 25, 1977, it was declared a national monument.
