Foodies may want to cross the Rio Cali and make a beeline to the northwestern neighborhood of Granada, arguably the city’s finest gastronomic district. Granada neighborhood in Cali, is a traditional area that used to be part of the owned by Don Benito Lopez, and the Sarasti and Caicedo families. Later, around 1917, some of the buildings more beautiful city, true Republican mansions that were built in this área and branded the neighborhood from a golden age of economic growth. Some of these buildings are still preserved in some cases, giving a nostalgic atmosphere, full of stories and leafy ceiba trees.
