In this house lived the four-time Colombian president and poet Rafael Nuñez.
The Cabrero Hermitage and House of Rafael Nuñez was built in 1885 and houses the remains of the ex-president of Colombia and illustrious poet Rafael Nuñez. Right opposite the Hermitage is the Casa de Rafael Núñez declared a National Monument in 1950. This building, constructed in a Caribbean Antillean style conserve part of the furniture that accompanied the political leader at his Cartagena residence, as well as paintings, artworks, personal belongings and large gardens.
