This church (St. Dominic Temple)<7u> belongs to an order of Dominican monks and dates from the sixteenth century. Construction began in 1560 and it took approximately 20 years to build, Its architectural designisinspiredbythe Real Convento de Sevilla (Royal Convent of Seville) in Spain. Inside, on the southern side, is the chapel of Nuestra Senora del Rosario (Our Lady of the Rosary), which preserves the image of the Virgin, It has impressive wood carvings, decorated with gold leaf located at the entrance, Baroque art lovers will delight in visiting this temple given the extravagant ornaments to be found here.
