All the municipalities of Cundinamarca throughout the year hold events that attract numerous tourists, among which stand out:
National Reign of Tourism (Girardot): it is one of the main festivals of the country Which takes place in the municipality of Girardot in October. Established since 1969, candidates from different departments participate, who compete for the crown to work and boost tourism in their region. Activities such as regattas on the Magdalena River, parade of floats, horseback riding and parties in the center of Girardot take place.
