Nimaima is a municipality of Cundinamarca (Colombia), located in the province of Gualivá. It is located 75 km from Bogotá. The primitive settlers were the nimaimas of the nation Panche.
Nimaima Cundinamarca is one of the privileged municipalities of the country in terms of tourism thanks to its geographical location, bathed by 3 rivers (Río Negro, Río Pinzaima, Rio Villeta), without counting on the number of gullies that give rise to spectacular Waterfalls and where it is possible to practice descending or Torrentismo, whereas in the Black River can be enjoyed the canotaje classified in the type 3 and 4 range.
