Sanctuary Of The Lord Of The Stone, Its construction dates from 1953 and was designed by the architect Alfredo Rodriguez, The miracle stone found by the laundress Rosa Nieto is worshipped here. She was in charge of odd jobs in the parish when she saw the image of the Lord stamped on the stone. It is now located on the silver cross that rests in the main altar of the sanctuary. This is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the center of the country and a place where hundreds of worshipers go every Sunday from the capital and neighboring towns.
