Cota (25/o m.a.s.l. 12°C): Once you are in the Siberia round point, you turn right and travel 8 km and arrive in Cota. Throughout the journey, you can relish several typical dishes or eat in international cuisine restaurants. The most outstanding attractions are the hot springs fountains of El Manantial, but it is also curious to visit the hieroglyphics of the Tapia rock, the Mohan’s cave and the Monhley hill.
Tenjo (2590 m.a.s.l. 14°C): This town is only 15 km from Cota. Its main attractions are the hot springs, the Pan de Azucar hill, the Chorrera de Miranda and the Peta-cas rocks, this latter one being outstanding for having the figure of Bochica stamped on it, with five children hanging from her. Numerous farms and country recreation houses surround the municipal capital. The Fanauticos farm, dedicated to the teaching of the countryside and its tasks to the children, is found in the surroundings, as well as numberless cultivations of fruit trees as well as milk farms.
Tabio: Municipality characterized by its stone paved streets, its perfectly maintained houses, the main park and some architectural jewels such as the Santa Barbara and Lourdes chapels. It has a hot springs bathing resort and spacious green zones such as the BotanicGarden.You can return on the Cajica – Bogota road.
