The Malecon is located in the Colombian city of Cúcuta, on Libertadores Avenue on the banks of the Pamplonita River. It is a recreation area where people can find restaurants, sports sites (such as a skateboard), among other things.
Every Sunday and holidays from 6:00 p.m. to 13:00 p.m., motorized vehicles are restricted throughout Av. Libertadores (one of the most important in the city) to open the “Ciclovía”, where alone People can walk, either on foot, on bicycles or in skates, in order to allow the outdoor exercise of the citizens.
It is considered one of the three longest boardwalks in Colombia since it has more than 7 km where you can find discos, bars, restaurants, parks, fun places, gazebo, among others. It also has sports sites such as track and circuit skateboarding, biker jumping and skateboarding, and along the avenue you can get the cycle.
