The famous Via 40 (Route 40), crosses the city from south to north and vice versa; The Avenida Circunvalar (Bypass avenue) which connects to the beaches of Puerto Colombia and in turn with the Troncal del Caribe (Caribbean Highway), which goes to Cartagena.
