Located in th Barrio Abajo(Down neighborhood), a traditional sector of Barranquilla, this architectural jewel was built in 1929 and reains the style of colonial times. The Caridi Mitrani family remodeled it in the 93s and gave it to the Barranquilla Carnival Foundation as a place to host the organization of the event and to become a meeting point for its participants. Among its attractions are the carnival tent where crafts are sold and the carnival room , an interactive space where history, costumes, music, masks and the varied cultural manifestations of this important event are exhibited.
