Bolivar Square is located in the city center, this emblematic and charming place is the traditional meeting point in Manizales. Its popularity grew after the first temple was built on the left side of the square in 1854. It is the ideal place to socialize or simply relax before and after attending mass in the cathedral. The Bolivar Condor (Bolivar Square) sculpture by the master Rodrigo Arenas Betancourt stands in the center of the square.
