The García Rovira park, which preserves the memory of General Custodio García Rovira, hero of Independence, is an essential space for the inhabitants of Bucaramanga. Located in the center of the city, it is surrounded by emblematic sites such as the Government of Santander, the Mayor’s Office of Bucaramanga, the Civic Plaza Luis Carlos Galán, the San Laureano Parish and the Chapel of Dolores.
It is one of the most representative parks of the city, and its name pays homage to the Colombian patriot of the same name. Around it are the main bumanguesas institutions, such as the Mayor’s Office, the San Laureano Cathedral, the Government of Santander and the Plaza Luis Carlos Galán.
