Visiting Santiago de Cali, Colombia’s sunny salsa capital? Here are six safe, trendy, and popular neighborhoods to stay.
I wanted to stay in Cali (Colombia) for a few weeks (at least, long term traveller) and was hoping for suggestions on where to stay. From what I’ve read Granada is good for dining and nightlife, though I worry it may be too upscale for may tastes (for instance I don’t really like Parque 93 in Bogotá, most everything is too expensive and dress-up there). I’ve read San Antonio is a nice traditional neighborhood that is somewhat central (making it easier to get around, Granada might be in walking distance). That sounds good to me. I assume there are a good number of traditional/inexpensive restaurants in the area.
